Stay at Home Lessons for Kids (I SPY WITH MY LITTLE EYE)

Hello friends! Today I am doing a fun “I spy with my little eye” lesson time! To get started as you can see I printed the alphabet and then I laminated the cards, that way they can last a long time That will save me paper and ink and I can use them as many times as I want to with Jade and it will last for a long time.

I also use this color stickies to put on the letters and I also put them on the toys Let me give you an example, in this case I'm holding the letter “M” with a green sticky, then I am going to grab three toys that start with the letter”M” And then I'm gonna put a green sticky on them.

Now, after a hide them She knows that she has to look for three items that start with the letter “M” And that have a green sticky on them.

The only rule is that she cannot move anything from it's place That way we will avoid having a big mess after this lesson! But before she starts looking we have to place this letter on the place mat for the word that we're going to put together Okay, so this is an example, as you can see I have here a monster So “M” for Monster and it has a sticky on it.

So we're gonna go ahead and put it inside the basket Here I have this thing that Jade calls the medicine for her dolls, so this is “M” for medicine this is just an example and here we have her doll with her milk.

So “M” for milk.

We're gonna put it in the basket as well.

So once we have all these items in here I'm gonna pick one of them and I'm gonna put it on top of the table and then I'm going to ask Jade to please sound out the word.

So in this case is milk Then she will grab letter by letter and she will slowly start putting the word together; once she's done with that I ask her to please read it out loud and tell me what the word says This lesson is pretty fun because not only does it help them stay busy and really pay attention to the small details As they look for these little items But it's also great for them to start practicing more and more the sounds of each letter and then slowly Start reading and start putting words together by themselves So let's get started! You need to go around and look for three things that start with the letter.
